Contributors To The Final Issue Nico Alvarado-Greenwood writes poetry. Here is another poem online by Nico. Nico lives in Iowa City and recently started Weather Press. Andrea Baker was the recipient of the 2004 Slope Editions Book Prize for her first book, Like Wind Loves a Window, chosen by Donald Revell. She is author of the chapbooks gather (moneyshot editions, 2006) and gilda (Poetry Society of America, 2004). Pam Brown is the author of many books of poetry and prose. Recent titles include Drifting topoi published in 2000 by Vagabond Press, Rare Object Series, Text thing published by Little Esther Books in 2002 and Dear Deliria (New and Selected Poems) from Salt Publishing in 2003. Cecelia Hagen's poems have appeared in Seattle Review, Prairie Schooner, Rolling Stone, and other publications. Her chapbook Fringe Living was published by 26 Books, and in 2001 she was the recipient of a Writer's Fellowship from Oregon Literary Arts. Laura Kasischke's most recent book of poetry, Gardening in the Dark was published in 2004 by Ausable Press. She has also published three novels. She teaches at the University of Michigan. Ryan Laks lives in an igloo buried deep under the dog's fur, and is an editor at Siren Magazine. Gary McDowell is the Assistant Poetry Editor for Mid-American Review. His work is forthcoming in Ninth Letter and The Eleventh Muse and has appeared recently in No Tell Motel, Pebble Lake Review, Bat City Review, and The Tiny. He has a chapbook, The Blueprint (Pudding House Publishing, 2005). Hermine Meinhard's book Bright Turquoise Umbrella was a finalist for the Poetry Society of America's Norma Farber First Book Award. Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in American Letters & Commentary, Barrow Street, Verse Daily, Drunken Boat, La Petite Zine and other journals. Hermine teaches at New York University and the New York Writers Workshop at the Jewish Community Center Manhattan. Sid Miller's poems have appeared widely. A Pushcart nominee, his chapbook Quietly Waiting was published in 2004 by White Heron Press. He is the editor of the poetry journal Burnside Review. Reid Mitchell, a historian and novelist, was the Fulbright Visiting Professor of American Studies at the University of Hong Kong, 2005-2006. He is currently living in New Orleans, USA. Lex Runciman lives and writes in Oregon's Willamette Valley. With Chris Anderson, he has co-authoredy A Forest of Voices: Conversations in Ecology (Mayfield Publishing) and Asking Questions: A Rhetoric for the Intellectual Life. Zanni Schauffler writes poetry which has appeared in The Iowa Review, Field, and on bar napkins up and down the West Coast. B.T. Shawis the poetry editor for the Oregonian. Cole Swensen is a Contributing Editor for American Letters and Commentary and for Shiny, and is the translation editor for How2. She currently teaches at the University of Iowa.
