Dan Thomas-Glass

After Taylor's "Another Meditation At the Same Time"
and a Conversation w/ Dris for O & V

By candlelight some wkend mourn
time begins to slip like a sleeping bag
unzipped in the jangle of a fertile purse thrown
to this material earth spilling words for all
its worth still told to count from nothing forward.
O that I could be anything but a sign for God.

Dan Thomas-Glass lives with his wife Kate near Berkeley, where he grew up. He is the editor of With + Stand, and his poems have appeared in Digital Artifact, Shampoo, Kitchen Sink, and elsewhere. He tries to surf on a Takayama longboard and tries to write his dissertation on Language Poetry and rap.
